ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS & READING 8-12 CERTIFICATION - MODULE DIRECTORY

This program has been generously supported by the Houston Endowment Inc. and the United States Department of Education, Transition to Teaching Program (Award S350A020027).

The Accelerate Online & Options Program Strand was created to provide graduates and professionals possessing a bachelor’s degree, as well as students late in their undergraduate careers, with an online program of educator preparation. The program includes instructional modules that are organized by the eight clusters below. In addition, students complete a 40-hour early field experience. A year-long paid internship follows in a secondary public school in Texas, where students work with a university supervisor and a mentor teacher.
