This is a great resource for social studies teachers at any level. The website is maintained by a board of directors made up of secondary school presidents, teachers, and university professors. The mission of National Council for the Social Studies is to provide leadership, service, and support for all social studies educators. You can view blogs, social studies news, and upcoming conferences for free on the website. You can also become a member and receive benefits such as a newsletter six times a year, discounts on teacher insurance, members-only website resources, discounted registration fees for annual conferences, and access to a legislative network monitoring proposed laws affecting social studies education. The membership fee for a first-year teacher is only 33 dollars.

The goal of this website is to advance excellent teaching in American schools with educational media and telecommunications. Schools can receive free broadcasts via satellite TV. There are also online simulcasts 24 hours per day. A high-speed connection is required. Wednesday is science day!Videotapes and DVD's can also be purchased. It looks like they have a great selection of learning materials and resources. They also have online workshops.

A very comprehensive look at math. If there is some odd rule or law that you are looking for or just cant remember this is a good first start. With their broad scoop you sure to find what you need. On the down side while the explanation are simple they are not simplified, so if you are unfamiliar with math terminology and notation, this sight my give you a little problem. Also expect to hyper link around a bit to find what you want, but this should not be a problem if you have a reasonable idea what you are after.
