Philosophy of Education: Philosophy

Professional Goals:

To touch student lives in a positive way through a humorous and challenging classroom environment.
To be a great secondary science teacher in the public school system.
To advise school science clubs and take teams to district, regional, and state competitions.

Interests:

I believe that effective teachers are hard working and run like crazy every day. You must have outside of work interests to stay sane and healthy. My loves are outdoor recreation including mountain biking, backpacking and camping, bird watching, and canoeing. I also enjoy playing guitar, reading a variety of books, and playing disc golf when I don't have time to really get out.
